If you have a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP), you may be eligible for aMedicare rebate for up to 5 sessions per calendar year with an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP). The rebate is approximately $58 per session.

Rebate Process:
• Your Movement Space does not process Medicare rebates on-site.
• You’ll pay the full standard fee at your appointment.
• Ellen will provide a electronic receipt for you to claim your rebate via myGov or the Medicare portal.
All fees are billed in accordance with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits for Exercise Physiology (Item Number: 15_200_0126_1_3 or 12_027_0126_3_3). Face-to-face and non-face-to-face support time are charged separately, as required under NDIS billing guidelines.
Fees are calculated using a base rate of $27.83 per 10-minute block for both face-to-face and non-face-to-face services, in line with the current hourly rate of $166.99 in the NDIA fee schedule.
Sunday & Public Holiday Surcharge: A 10% surcharge applies to all appointments on Sundays and public holidays. This surcharge cannot be covered by the NDIS, as it falls outside the approved fee schedule for Plan Managed participants.If you are Plan Managed and wish to book on a Sunday, you will need to cover the gap payment out of pocket.

Sunday & Public Holiday Policy for WorkCover Participants: Unfortunately, WorkCover (SIRA) does not allow for the 10% service fee applied to appointments on Sundays and public holidays.As a result, WorkCover participants are unable to book sessions on these days, as the gap cannot be charged or covered under the SIRA fee schedule.
Yes! If your health fund covers Exercise Physiology, you may be eligible for a rebate.Coverage varies by provider.
Claim Process:
• You’ll pay the full standard fee at your appointment.
• Ellen will provide a receipt for you to claim your rebate through your health fund.
No referral is required to book a appointment with Ellen. Private patients simply pay the standard fees listed above.
Yes! We understand that financial barriers can impact access to care. If you are experiencing financial hardship, Ellen is open to discussing adjusted session rates to ensure services remain accessible.Clients who can pay the full fee help support this initiative, allowing YMS to offer more affordable care to those in need, including NDIS and WorkCover participants, where capped fees fall below standard rates.
Cancellations or reschedules made within 24 hours of the appointment time, as well as missed appointments, will be charged 100% of the full appointment fee.
